The Iconic Capital of Australian Democracy

Many see the aesthetic nature of the Canberra City design, but few know it's background. Walter Burley Griffin and his wife Marion Mahony Griffin (often forgotten due to her being a female) designed the city, including the creation of the main made lake features in this photo, Lake Burley Griffin. Canberra has been built perfectly according to these designs, hence why the city has included the natural mountains, free flowing lake and circular articulation, which creates such comfort and beauty to residents. To work with nature is to enhance it's true beauty.
